The First world Female president

The first female president I'd like to highlight is Corazon Aquino, who served as the President of the Philippines from 1986 to 1992. Born on January 25, 1933, Aquino was a housewife who rose to power after her husband, Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, was assassinated in 1983.¹ Aquino's presidency was marked by her leadership of the People Power movement, which aimed to restore democracy in the Philippines. She played a crucial role in toppling the authoritarian regime of Ferdinand Marcos and was eventually elected as the country's first female president.

Another trailblazing female president is Pratibha Patil, who served as the President of India from 2007 to 2012. Born on December 19, 1934, Patil was a lawyer and politician who rose through the ranks of the Indian National Congress party.² Patil's presidency was notable for her efforts to empower women and promote social justice. Despite facing criticism for her handling of certain issues, Patil remains a significant figure in Indian politics and a pioneer for women in leadership positions.
